Surveys are rolling out!

We're happy to announce that the Backerkit surveys are out! We’re starting with a small batch of backers to make sure everything is working smoothly. Once that’s confirmed, the rest of the surveys will be sent out to everyone.
For those who are new to Kickstarter: The BackerKit survey is where you’ll tell us your shipping address, choose the size and color of your rewards, select any add-ons, and pay for shipping, which wasn’t charged during the campaign.
You will have until July 15th to make changes to your survey once it is completed. After that date, surveys will be locked, and your card will be charged to allow us to start the shipping process
The sooner you complete your survey, the sooner we'll ship your rewards! If you run into any issues, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected]. This will always be the best and fastest way to reach us.
Production and Fulfillment
Production of the sheets is underway and ahead of schedule. Next step? Shipping it over to our warehouses and then to your door! We should receive the bulk shipment around the end of July, and shipping is scheduled to start in early-August.
Customs and Duties
With the global shipping landscape constantly evolving, we believe the most reliable way to deliver the bed sheets to our international backers is by shipping through a Delivered Duties Paid service. This means that for certain destinations, you may be asked to pay customs and duties upfront through BackerKit.
While it may seem like an extra step, this approach significantly improves the delivery success rate for international orders. It allows us to track shipments, file claims if anything goes missing, and avoid packages getting held up or lost, which happens quite often when duties are unpaid.
Things to keep in mind:
- Complete your survey by June 15th, and we'll add a complimentary 3rd blanket when you add 2 blankets to your order.
- Only the individual pillowcase add-ons include the palm tree embroidery. Pillowcases included in the bedding sets do not contain any embroidery.
- Enjoy discounted shipping on all add-ons and free worldwide shipping on smaller items like the Sleep Mask, Scrubbers, the Duck, and Groomy (no matter what pledge level you're in)
- If you're going to be moving around this period, no rush. You can wait until you're settled in to finalize your survey. Whenever you're ready, just submit your survey and we'll send your rewards to your updated address.
- If your payment has failed or you have been dropped as a backer due to payment issues, no worries. You'll still get a chance to claim your rewards and provide a different payment method on Backerkit. You should be receiving an email with your survey soon.
- You'll have until July 15th to make edits to your survey. After that date, we'll be locking down the surveys so we can start the shipping process.

We're so excited to get these life-changing bed sheets into your hands and under your covers.
It's been a challenging few weeks as we put the last finishing touches. We are now waiting for the funds from the campaign to reach our account so we may begin production and move us one step closer to delivery.
Stretch Goal Unlocked
Thanks to your incredible support, we've been able to push past our $200,000 stretch goal in the last few hours. Give yourself a round of applause- this was no small feat!
Having unlocked the stretch goal means we're going to be producing these sheets in two colors: Charcoal and Pearl. Both colors will be available for all backers to select for their sheets, pillowcases, or duvet covers.
We could use your help in renaming the Pearl White color. Drop a comment below with what you think we should call this new color!
Next Steps
While we're waiting for the Kickstarter funds to arrive (takes about 2 weeks) we'll be working on setting up the BackerKit survey. Through this final survey, you'll be able to:
- Select the final size & color of your bed sheet(s)
- Provide us with the shipping address where you'd like your package delivered.
- Select add-ons to add to your pledge. We'll be offering our full range of bathroom essentials at an exclusive discount for all backers of this project, along with all the add-ons offered during the campaign at the same sweet KS discount.
You'll receive a personalized link on your Kickstarter email in 2-3 weeks with your survey link. We'll let you know in our next update that all surveys have been sent out. The sooner you complete the Backerkit survey, the sooner we'll ship your rewards!
Failed Payments
If your payment method has been declined, you will need to log in to your Kickstarter account and click the “Fix Payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. Kickstarter should have sent you some email reminders to update your card info. Check your spam/junk folders for any emails with instructions. You should update your payment method by Friday, May 16th.
If your payment method is not updated and your pledge is dropped, fear not! You'll have the opportunity to honor your pledge and provide an alternative payment method through Backerkit. We'll send you a survey and reserve the items you pledged for. You can provide a different payment method or use Paypal to finalize your pledge.
